LSWR Bogie Directors Saloon of 1885 as modified c1925

The original LSWR Bogie Directors Saloon was modified circa 1925 to electric lighting and the three gas tanks were moved up onto the roof, side by side. The SR diagram book shows doors in the ends and an additional door on the kitchen side for the guard. The ‘standard’ doors were all re-arranged to hinge outwards in the conventional manner, but the end side doors were unaltered and hinged inwards.
