LSWR 46’ Composite of 1881-85 (Arc roofed)

The 1881 batch of 12 were oil lit but converted to gas in 1884. The 1881,883 and some of the 85 batch were ciphered in 1911. In 1921 a further compartment was added to the existing 1909 conversion to make a large luggage compartment. They ran on into SR days being withdrawn 4/39.
