LSWR 47’ 6” Saloon of 1885 – rebuilt in the 1890s (?) (Nos 18,19) (Elliptical roofed)

There were six vehicles in the batch. The first two were ciphered 6/1912 and withdrawn 10/1932. The fourth and fifth in the series were withdrawn in 1933 and 1931. Numbers 18 and 19 were rebuilt at some stage, probably in the 1890s, to the elliptical roof profile. This was carried out, simply by raising the top of the coach side. These two vehicles are the subject of this SBM kit.
