LSWR 47’ 6” Picnic Saloon of 1913 (Nos 17) (Clerestory roofed)

There were six vehicles in the original batch built in 1885, numbered 15- 20, all originally built with gas light and arc roofs. Number 17 was converted to the Royal saloon in 1897 and had a clerestory roof added. It was then further converted to a Picnic Saloon in 1913 still carrying the clerestory roof. It was withdrawn in 9/33
