LSWR Platform Seat

These seats were a very common sight throughout the LSWR./SR system and remained in use until ‘modernisation’ of stations started in recent years. The very spindly appearance of the seats ends, which in the prototype are formed from flat bar, has been achieved out of flat etched material by the use of forming jigs, and templates, included with the kit. The result is an easy to assemble kit with consistent, and repeatable, shapes of the arms and legs.
