GWR Platform Seats – ‘GWR’ ‘shirt button’ monogram

These seats were an extremely common sight on all GWR stations and were introduced around 1934. This version had ‘GWR’ monogram (in Art Deco style) cast into the seat supports. Lengths varied, to a maximum of about 142".
