Bicycle
Delivery bicycles of this style, with a small front wheel, appear almost
timeless. This model is based on an example from the Science Museum
(ex Horsted Keynes). The first examples appeared in late Victorian times
and are still being made today! Two major variants exist, one with a
horizontal crossbar and the other with a sloping crossbar (similar to
a Ladies style) which, presumably, made it easier to mount. The kit
is for the horizontal crossbar version.
