Skew Brakes

This type of brake shoe arrangement is notoriously difficult to execute in model form. The kit of parts provides all the skew arms and droppers required, plus etched brake shoes made up from several laminations. Also included is a supply of forked joints for the various pull rods, plus vacuum cylinder crank arms etc. Handbrake levers are provided together with the associated racks.
These parts are included with all Southwark Bridge Models kits that require them. Their use with other manufacturers kits may require a certain amount of adjustment!
