LSWR Post Office 44’ Sorting Vans No.4/11

These Postal Letter Sorting Vans were built in 5/92 and 10/91 (with side ‘bulge’ for letter racks). Around 10/91 No.11 was close coupled to 32’ PO Sorting Van No.5 and used as the Day TPO reserve. Previously Nos 4 and 11 had been used singly, one running one reserve, as the Day TPO between Waterloo – Dorchester. Withdrawn 11/37 and 7/33.
