Just
released – LSWR kits for 42’ and
45’ Thirds and Compos as modified in 1909 to Brakes.
In this guise they were paired together to form 2-car
sets for branch line working, occasionally sandwiching
a 48’ Third.
The modified versions of the LSWR Bogie Directors Saloon.
These conversions involved adding extra doors in the sides
and ends. The gas tanks were also moved around and it
was converted to electric lighting and finally, a new,
wider underframe was fitted!. These conversions extended
the working life of the vehicle as it ran until 1961 and
carried BR crimson livery. It was finally scrapped 1963/64.
Following
on from the very successful release of the GWR AA1/AA3
Toads the P7 Ballast Hopper is now available. This vehicle,
a rapid rebuild from the original low sided version, had
many variations mainly concerning the brakes. The brakes
varied from simple racks to the various Dean-Churchwad
types and included vacuum operated versions. All of the
known variations in the P7 type are accommodated in the
kit.
In
4mm (7mm depending on demand) new LSWR coach kits are
available including a Royal Saloon and TPO Vans.
Under
development are more LSWR coaches, including some very
early ones and an LSWR gas holder wagon. Test etches are
being evaluated for an A12 ‘Jubilee’ loco
kit.
